Modernist Resource was founded by Laura Brodax and Erich Volkstorf to help home owners achieve the sculptural simplicity and clean functionality that typifies the very best of Modernist design.

Laura and Erich have over 20 years experience in design and restoration in a variety of areas. They were inspired to create Modernist Resource by their own journey in restoring a Mid-Century Modern home through research, sourcing hard-to-find materials, and even recreating out-of-production hardware to original specifications.
